Benjamin O. Lawson, MD

Originally from Phoenix, Arizona, Dr. Lawson started his medical journey in Guadalajara, Mexico where he graduated valedictorian of his medical school at Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara. He then completed his internship in General Surgery at Banner University Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona. After surgery, he transitioned into Internal Medicine, where he was one of the inaugural residents at HonorHealth in Scottsdale, Arizona.

After Internal Medicine residency, he traveled to Los Angeles where he completed his Nephrology fellowship at Harbor UCLA in 2021. With the drive to improve access to Nephrology, he headed north to Anchorage, Alaska. He completed two years serving underprivileged communities before moving to Missoula, Montana to work for Providence St. Patrick's.

Dr. Lawson always had a dream of one day opening his own medical practice to improve access to those in need of a kidney doctor. Hence, the creation of Montana Kidney PLLC.

In his free time, Dr. Lawson enjoys spending time with his family, landscaping, hiking, fishing, camping, winter and summer sports, and playing his bass guitar.
